Managment
The vocational training, and training program, entitled “Airline Specialist” or ‘”Aviation Management” was created to meet the growing needs of the aviation industry and airlines.
This need, for continuous training and certification of the professional skills of those employed in the dynamic sector of aviation, has led the Omega Aviation Academy to design innovative Air Training Programs and Learning-Based Combinations, interfacing theory with practice, whilst developing the applied dimension of science in the respective professional aviation fields.
The courses offered by the academy are approved by the Hellenic Ministry of Education (Accredit Level 5 for the 2 year course, and Level 3 for the 1 year course), as well as by the HCAA for an aviation course license.
The development of the program was based upon:
- The extensive, over 50 years, experience of the Academy in the rapidly developing field of aviation,
- The Knowledge and Experience of its instructors, but also the ever-increasing needs of the aviation organizations.
In addition, the aviation academy’s curriculum is constantly updated according to the standards and rules of the EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) and the ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization), which are the certified airline training organizations of EASA by the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority).
Each learning unit is made up of a specific framework of knowledge, skills and abilities that will be the appropriate tools for the professional recognition of our students within the Aviation Workplace. Here, our Practice exercise, covering one semester, and organized by the Omega Aviation Academy is conducted n real practice areas and in real time, i.e. alongside airlines and related companies whilst fully operational in Greek airports, with the aim of teaching and learning excellent airline services.
Nowadays, Air Travel is the most basic and fastest evolving mode of transport, making it imperative for specialized executives to be able to effectively meet the needs of airlines and related businesses.
Student education includes learning modules and research issues related to the development and structure of airlines, passengers, mail and goods and have been used in addition to the available literature, articles and many case studies through which the applicable and practical part is analyzed. By attending the training at the Academy, the student is ready to pass the IATA degree exams.

The Specialist of Airlines, after completing his/her studies, possesses the required skills and knowledge for:
-The monitoring and implementation of the regulations, as well as its constant updating on issues of goods transport procedures and passenger air travel.
-The care for passenger service and V.I.P. (Very Important Persons), P.R.M. (Passengers with reduced Mobility) and C.I.P. (Commercially Important Persons)
– For the promotion of the company’s sales and its promotion.
– The provision of airport support services (Ground operation, passenger handling).
– The provision of administrative support services.
– The coordination and monitoring of flight schedules.
– Information on pricing policy, sales, as well as the achievements of other competing companies.
Quality and Safety System
It is clear that in order to achieve its lofty goals in the field of aviation, the management of the Omega Aviation Academy is committed to providing all the means, infrastructure, educational materials, teaching staff and administrative support staff, to ensure everything the above, with particular emphasis on an effective quality system (such as ISO9001), which aims to achieve this quality policy.
Based on this quality system, all our employees and students must comply and comply with the procedures and regulations of the Academy without exception, and the Management does what is necessary to achieve this compliance.
